My new experiences in Chicago !!!

Hello friends, today i want to talk about my new experiences in the beautiful city of chicago.

On Wednesday, we visited the Harold Washintong library, it was very interesting that it was one of the largest libraries in the world. 

It's a very relaxed and friendly place to visit. One of the most interesting things was to see how they made 3D impressions of objects with different materials, and they made many figures in strange ways.

I think the lifestyle in Chicago compared to the city of Santiago is largely similar.

One of the interesting and different things is that people in Chicago are very friendly, at least with foreign people.

Also surprised me that life here is expensive, many people in Chile had told me that United States is more cheaper, but looking shops I have not found very cheap stuff, the prices are very similar in Chile.

About the food , the food here in Chicago  is usually very tasty. And some things have much seasoning and sugar. 

I think that Kendall food is very tasty, my favorite dish was a type of fish that had red wine but i can't remember his name.

The dish that i liked least was a kind of omelet that had lots of onions and quite spicy. I can't remember his name. :/ 

About the weather

Winter in Chicago is very cold. I think I've never felt so cold before. On a very cold day in Santiago city is -4 degrees, bur here it is minus 20 or so.

The wind in Chicago is very strong and so is the snow. We have to cover our faces that begins to ache with the cold.

Meet Chicago is totally different. It feels a little strange the first days since everyone speaks English, and is a bit complicated and communicate with other people. 

Also, I feel like the streets and the buildings are larger.

Compared to Chicago to Santiago, is not much difference. But I think is more expensive than Santiago like the cigars and fruit. Also the bread is different, in Chile I always eat  marraqueta and hallulla bread, and here this bread does not exist.

Hi, I am Maria Paz Valdebenito and I am from Santiago, Chile. I live in the Center city. I am going to talk about my studies, I study in AIEP Institute and is near to my house. I,m studying  Clothes Design Professional and I finish my studies this year. I am Very Happy !!!

About my family, I have a eldest sister, she has 28 years old. My sister has a child he has 6 years old, is a  nice boy and very smart.
I live with my boyfriend in a nice department, we have dog his name is Melon it is a dachshund Dog, so it has short legs. it's so cute :) . Melon is like our son.

                                        

My favorite hobbies are join with my best friends in my house and make delicious and strange foods.
I love go to the park with my dog for about 1 hours every days.

I like Chicago because is a big city and very nice. In this city I want to go and know different places.
I would like to learn English with people who speak English.

About the picasso sculpture, I'm think that represents a woman primitive with cubist form.it's amazing and very very tall.

Mi first day in Chicago starts really well. Fornelli Hall is near the most important think that you can visit, it's very interesting.

Yesterday We went to to the Art Institute of Chicago and my favorite piece of art it was the Buda in the Indian Sector.
